depart.one invited Peter Kutin, Rrill Bell, Aloïs Yang for a 12 days experimental laboratory starting at August 18th in city of Wehlen (Saxon Switzerland) with the theme 𝑵𝑶𝑾𝑰𝑵𝑻𝑯𝑬𝑷𝑨𝑺𝑻𝑰𝑵𝑻𝑯𝑬𝑭𝑼𝑻𝑼𝑹𝑬𝑰𝑵𝑻𝑯𝑬𝑵𝑶𝑾𝑰𝑵𝑻𝑯𝑬𝑵𝑶𝑾, with a special SHAPE educational insert by Antez and Stepan Vashkevich. All participants are invited to sense nature as an independent creature, a structure of knowledge, and a unique space of self-reflection and (re-)connection. A one-day-one-night public event on the 29th of August, in the format of a common walk through the Saxon Switzerland for site-specific works, as well as an evening of installations and performances in the gallery space concludes this artist* residency project.

𝑂𝑈𝑇𝑆𝐼𝐷𝐸𝐼𝑁𝐼𝑁𝑆𝐼𝐷𝐸𝑂𝑈𝑇𝐼𝑁𝑆𝐼𝐷𝐸𝑂𝑈𝑇𝑂𝑈𝑇𝑆𝐼𝐷𝐸𝐼𝑁 is an artists and researchers curated series of thematic & explorative happenings, performances, site-specific audio & visual installations taking place within natural environments – as a multi-layered platform of experience exchanges beyond all genres and definitions. The program is devised with the focus on the creation of an individual and collective exploration of our inner and outer natural environments.
The project is hosted by Torhaus Wehlen and funded by the Czech German future fund.
